HOMI Independent: focus on new retail experience

HOMI is not only an exhibition of products and projects but also an important time for training and updating. The seminars organised by Platform, will be an opportunity to discover international design trends in retail

HOMI Independent offers its operators and visitors access to educational meetings that open a window into the world of retail design at an international level.

In particular, the seminars organised by Platform, a now unmissable event for HOMI visitors, will present international case studies – from Copenhagen to London, Shanghai to Madrid, Paris to New York and Los Angeles – that cover the entire retail landscape.

These are virtuous examples that take into account the relationship between the physical and virtual store and at the same time show the ability to properly emphasise the role of the store front in the relationship experience between the end consumer and the brand. Being able to intercept the new needs and expectations of the end consumer by changing and adapting their retail model will increasingly make them a collector of connections with their brand, as well as commercial ones. New technologies, design and strategic thinking are the keys to growth in a constantly changing market.

The meetings, organised by business and strategy expert Alessandro Lorenzelli, will be divided into three sessions to be held on 16 September (11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 to 4:30 p.m.) and 17 September (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.). Each session will be introduced by a 10-minute talk by Simona Finessi and Alessando Lorenzelli. The latter was tasked with explaining the projects and drawing conclusions.

Approximately 20 minutes will be devoted to each of the following projects:
