Beauty that is good for you

Artisan details and manufacturing, raw materials and "made in" processing, plus sustainability. These are the guidelines on which the home living sector is focusing, and the latest edition of HOMI brought them into the limelight in the halls of Fieramilano

Artisan details and manufacturing, raw materials and "made in" processing, plus sustainability. This is the direction the world of living is heading in today, and the latest edition of HOMI - Il Salone degli Stili di Vita (The Lifestyle Show) brought it to life in the halls of Fieramilano with numerous proposals for home décor, furnishings and design accessories, both Italian and international, which, even when made from innovative materials, meet the requirements of reduced environmental impact. And which in some cases are also offered for customisation in the promotional channel.

The environmentally friendly bottle

The "Wild Message in a Bottle" line by 4You Design is 100% green and is presented at HOMI in a special edition inspired by three main themes: craftsmanship, made in Italy and sustainability. Unique bottles, made with 100% recycled and recyclable glass from separate waste collection, which enhance the imperfections of the raw material used as a symbol of friendship with the environment.

With the mission to make the recycled beautiful, each bottle is customised with an exclusive design applied using non-organic colours, i.e. coloured glass powder that blends with the glass of the bottle making the decoration 100% ecological as well.

The artists and designers who sign the works reproduced on the Wild bottles made live customisations at the HOMI stand, creating unique limited edition products.

4You Design also offers these bottles to the promotional channel. The Wilds were chosen by Radio Deejay to mark its 40th birthday, creating an original project aimed at recounting the values and most important pieces of the radio station's history.

Outdoor with style

Outdoor spaces, now more than ever, have become new living environments. Blomus is well aware of this and at HOMI it presented, among the various novelties, the GROW modular outdoor sofas.

Available in two shades - light grey and anthracite - the line consists of several modules that can be combined according to taste, creating a personalised and exclusive solution that can be adapted to any context.

Made of a refined waterproof material, these sofas mark the beginning of a new era for the German company, while at the same time consolidating the brand's tradition. Innovation, therefore, goes hand in hand with a constant desire to present novelties that arouse curiosity with the common denominator of quality, minimal elegance, clean lines and craftsmanship.

With more than 50 years on the market, Blomus is characterised by a constant search for pure materials and shapes, which are reflected in a wide range of interior design and accessory proposals. From sofas to cutlery to bathroom accessories, all distinguished by a design philosophy based on simplicity, rigorous use of colour, quality without compromise, especially in the selection of materials.

Wishing Pots

Lightweight, non-stick and eco-friendly too. These are the Cocotte by Cookut pots that allow you to make dishes in 9 cooking modes - from frying to tagine and vacuum cooking - and come in colours and accessories that can be combined to suit your personal style: 8 colour gradients, 45 knobs and 11 pairs of coordinating potholders to make up the wishing line.

The Cocotte project adds colour to high quality, bringing new nuances to the kitchen, but more than anything, an eco-friendly approach with low environmental impact that aims to reduce the use of plastic by extending the product's life cycle. The bamboo handles and the recycled paper pack are also green.

The French company Cookut's environmental credo stems from the responsible production process and the defence of local commerce, with the desire to contribute to the creation of a world that is attentive to people and the environment.

Textiles with delicate country chic nuances

The enveloping atmosphere of Gc Giancarlo Cordero's stand introduces you to a wide range of sartorial products that blend modern lines with old-fashioned craftsmanship. In fact, these are real artifacts created, sewn, drawn and painted by hand. Obviously in Italy.

Refinement is the common denominator of every single proposal, from table textiles to cushions, from blankets to wardrobe scents. The materials, such as gauze, natural linen and merino wool are of the highest quality, as are the finishes, the result of passion and creativity that permeate the entire collection. Products that obviously lend themselves to customisation at the request of the customer, where the customisation ranges from the choice of materials to decorations, through sizes and shapes.

Among the novelties presented at HOMI is the soft rabbit-shaped cushion in different sizes and colour combinations, chosen from a variety of pastel shades.

The beauty of ice cream

To satisfy the desire for ice cream Tooa has patented a machine that revolutionises a way of enjoying it in just 3 minutes. Presented at HOMI 2022, the "Tooa Milano Premium" version is available in three pastel colours - pink, light blue and green - with a matte finish and characterised by a compact and sophisticated design.

Born from the encounter between technology and craftsmanship, it is the result of two years of intense activity in R&D that has allowed us to engineer a new self-cooling system, with low energy content, without the use of a compressor and therefore without the presence of gas. Planet friendly also recyclable packaging of Tooabrik's long shelf life single-serving pods, which break down the cold chain with a sustainable product that can be stored conveniently in the pantry at room temperature.

Made with 100% natural, carefully selected ingredients, Tooa's wide range of ice cream includes milk-based, dairy-free and all gluten-free flavours. Everything is totally made in Italy: the beating heart of the activity is in Fabriano (An).

The sales channels are being developed and at the moment include some GDS brands and the flagship store in Corso Venezia 8 in Milan.
