Beyond craftsmanship: when objects speak of local areas

Italian know-how and the essence of local places can be found in regional products and in the ideas of the new designers. Quality craftsmanship from Veneto and Puglia at HOMI

Appreciating regional products, making designers from Veneto and Puglia known, and meeting the needs of many companies looking for distribution partners closer to them geographically.

At HOMI, the focus is on craftsmanship and Italian know-how in products. The return to local production and made-in is not just a trend. It’s a necessity that will increasingly supply the demands of companies dedicated to reshoring. An unmissable opportunity for giving a voice to local appreciation and the specialisations and communities of each Italian region, which will continue boosting creativity and brands in the Belpaese.

Antonio Bertoli, chairman of FIAC/Anima Confindustria, highlights: “For some time now, the demand for products that are actually made in Italy has been increasingly pressing, because Made in Italy still holds huge appeal for the end consumer. It is, as yet, unrivalled and recognised across the globe for guaranteeing premium quality at the right price with an innovative and universally appreciated aesthetic. So even many organisations of the large-scale retail trade are focusing, both with targeted operations and continuous sales, on Italian products. As a result, companies in the sector are increasingly considering structural investments in Italy”.

There will be a significant representation of artisan products from Veneto and Puglia featured at this edition of HOMI. Items that speak of regions, craftsmanship, and traditional techniques combined with technological innovation, creativity and contemporary materials.
