Ki-Life Sustainable Award 2022: Awaiting the award

Aimed at Italian and international companies from HOMI's target sectors, the Ki-Life Sustainable Award 2022 is aimed at companies that have designed and realised products or projects for the purpose of Sustainable Development, Environmental Respect and Social Responsibility. The award will recognise action on environmental sustainability, local traditions and promoting local areas, social and environmental causes, as well as processes that reduce environmental impact, including in traditional product production.

The winners will be announced at an event due to be held in Milan at Homi Fiera 2022.

Sustainability is at the heart of HOMI's strategy and exhibition planning, as demonstrated by exhibitors’ many sustainable projects and products as well as specific initiatives. One such initiative is the collaboration with Kiki-Lab, a company directed by Fabrizio Valente specialising in retail and consumption. At the January event, HOMI is launching the first edition of the KI-LIFE Sustainable Award 2022, an award aimed at Italian and international companies in HOMI's target sectors that have conceived and created products or projects with all-round sustainable development in mind which can be traced back to environmentally sustainable actions, local traditions, promoting local areas, and to social and environmental causes as well as processes that reduce environmental impact, including through producing traditional products.

The winner will be declared by a panel of judges comprised of managers, professionals and experts in retail and environmental and social sustainability, including Francesco Farinetti, CEO of Green Pea; Paola Scalvini, Product Director of Coin Casa; and Chiara Bonanomi, Purchasing Manager of Feltrinelli.
