Homi, the trade fair that looks ahead to the future

With new features regarding layout, display experience and a changing distribution logic.

There will be a new look for Homi, the Lifestyle Trade Fair (29 January-1 February 2021 at Fieramilano (Rho), which is entirely devoted to the world of living and home decorations.

First of all the layout is changing, to reflect today’s various distribution practices, ranging from traditional retail outlets and new concept stores to e-commerce and mass distribution. It will also take account of the requirements of multi-channel distribution, a phenomenon that has increased considerably since the health emergency.

Inter-disciplinary pathways will cover crafts, made in Italy, design, experimentation and manufacturing excellence, and will be structured as follows:

 

 

- The Promotional pathway will coincide with PTE 2021, the only annual trade fair in Italy for the world of advertising items, promotional textiles and technologies for personalisation.

 

- The Small Appliances pathway will involve everything from luxury items to custom-designed products for promotional activities.

 

- The Home Hospitality pathway will cover the area of hospitality that “feels like home”, for boutique hotels, AirBnB, short-term rentals and  bistros.

 

- The Interior Designers and Decorators pathway will encourage meetings with opinion makers and cover all aspects of restructuring and renovation.

 

- The Green Home Sales Outlet pathway will be concerned with green design, decorative indoor accessories, furnishings and gifts.

 

- The Christmas pathway will present new ideas and designer trends relating to the festive period.

 

 

The event will also include workshops, talks and meetings, offering trade visitors an overview of market trends, ideas and suggestions to help them grow their business.

As part of the effort to support retailers, buyers and professionals, the #HOMIcommunity project will offer companies a platform for continuous visibility. It is designed to relaunch the images and stories of individual exhibitors, in order to create a complete digital hub that is always available to all players in the trade sector.
